HappyRobot, a startup building AI agents that automate logistics, insurance and energy coordination tasks, has raised a $150 million Series C that values the company at $1.2 billion, pushing it into unicorn territory. The round was led by Prysm Capital and Eurazeo.

The company's pitch centers on voice- and text-based AI agents that handle the kind of repetitive coordination work — scheduling freight pickups, processing claims, chasing paperwork — that has historically required large back-office teams. Investors have poured money into similar "agentic" automation startups over the past year, betting that AI can now reliably handle multi-step business processes rather than just answering questions.

The raise is part of a broader wave of venture capital concentrating on companies that promise to do more work with fewer people, spanning logistics, customer service and financial operations. HappyRobot plans to use the funding to expand its engineering team and push further into new verticals beyond its initial logistics customer base.
