NFL Network has become available to ESPN Unlimited subscribers, adding 19 out-of-market preseason games to the streaming bundle starting with a Packers-Steelers matchup on August 13. The deal also brings coverage of "Back Together Weekend" and the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony, along with original programming such as "Good Morning Football," to ESPN's app.

The addition reflects the continued unbundling of live sports away from traditional cable packages and toward direct-to-consumer streaming apps. ESPN has spent the past year building out its standalone streaming product as a replacement for the cable bundle many fans have dropped, and folding in NFL Network content gives it a fuller slate of football programming without requiring a separate subscription.

The move comes amid a broader reshuffling of NFL media rights across streaming platforms, with games and related programming now spread across traditional broadcasters, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Peacock in addition to ESPN. For fans, that has meant more total football content available but a more complex map of where to find it.
