THE ALIM SHOW, the long-form conversation series from AABEAT.TV, opens its first season with a question that reaches every classroom and workplace: is your degree enough in the AI age? The official trailer for Episode 1 is out now, and the full episode is coming soon.
Host Alim Abdul brings more than 30 years in cybersecurity and technology to the chair, and a simple conviction: better decisions begin with better questions. The show is built around curiosity over certainty, depth over speed, understanding over winning, and ideas over headlines.
Episode 1: Is Your Degree Enough in the AI Age?
Dr. Badrul Khan, an e-learning pioneer and 2015 USDLA Hall of Fame inductee, joins Alim to explore AI, jobs, education and the future of learning: what to learn, and how to keep adapting as technology changes how we work. Dr. Khan earned his PhD in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University and was founding director of the Educational Technology Leadership graduate program at George Washington University.
Coming up: AI, Cybersecurity and Leadership
Episode 2 features Mohammed Hassan, CISO at the NYC Office of Labor Relations and a CUNY educator with more than 23 years of experience across the public and private sectors. The conversation turns to AI-driven threats, organizational readiness and the leadership decisions behind cybersecurity.
Across the series, THE ALIM SHOW brings together people from technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, banking and finance, education, government and beyond, exploring the experiences behind their work, the decisions that tested them and the lessons that shaped their lives.
